BASIC INFO
Roof prism can be used in applications requiring 90 degrees deflection of an image or laser beam. When passed through a prism, the image is reflected from right to left and top to bottom. Suitable for telescopes and any optical instrument that needs to flip the image from the objective lens, turn over the right side and bend at 90° to maintain correct visual orientation. The hypotenuse of the prism uses total internal reflection (TIR) to reflect the image passed through the prism.
